• Activated data SIM card (1-3 MB per inverter per day):
• Insert the SIM card into the side of the smart logger.
• Use a Wi-Fi connection between the smart logger and your phone to enter the 4G settings. You will use the ‘Fusion Solar’ app for this. [Link to document]
• It may take up to an hour for the smart logger to appear online in the monitoring system.

If your inverter was purchased from a Vamat reseller, you can request a monitoring account from us so that we can provide remote support if needed. You can also use this account to monitor your PV plant yourself.

For monitoring your single-phase system, use ‘Fusion Solar’ at https://intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com.

For monitoring your three-phase system, you can use either ‘Fusion Solar’ or ‘NetEco’ at www.huawei-solar.com.

Note: ‘NetEco’ will be phased out in 2020 or 2021, and your PV plant will be moved to ‘Fusion Solar’.

Apps are available for both ‘Fusion Solar’ and ‘NetEco’.

Huawei inverters have built-in residual current protection. However, there are situations where you are required to install additional residual current protection for each inverter in the system.

Situations requiring extra AC residual current protection for each inverter include:

• Residential buildings
• Livestock farming

You can choose between a 4G or an Ethernet connection.

• Connect the smart logger to the local router using an Ethernet cable.
• Use a Wi-Fi connection between the smart logger and your phone to enter the Ethernet settings. You will use the ‘Fusion Solar’ app for this. Link document.
• The smart logger should appear online in the monitoring system within a few minutes.
