Steenfabriek De Rijswaard BV has been supplying bricks for residential and commercial construction since 1900.

Over more than a century, the factory has grown into a solid company with a production capacity of over 120 million bricks per year.

Innovation is one of the key focus areas at De Rijswaard. In 2008, the entire machinery was updated to the latest technological standards. This innovative production environment not only contributes to a high-quality product but also ensures a high degree of efficiency in the production process.

At De Rijswaard, we also use our innovative capabilities to produce sustainably. Corporate social responsibility is highly valued by us. Through measures such as flue gas cleaning, two combined heat and power (CHP) installations, and a modern extraction system, we ensure that the well-being of people and the environment is safeguarded as much as possible. Recently, we added the PV system implemented by ProfiNRG to this list. More than 7,000 panels were installed on our roofs, generating a significant portion of our electricity consumption. By feeding our excess capacity back into the grid, residents in the area can also benefit from our green power.
